New Site Design

With the new focus on the site, I figured it was the perfect time to design a new site. I created the original design of blatherbox for another project that never really got off the ground. I liked it so much that I decided to use it for blatherbox, but it was too dark and didn't fit what I wanted to do. So, I made a new logo and a new design color scheme but kept the same structure from the previous design. I like it a lot more, and it presents the content better. Let me know your thoughts on the new design. Do you love it? Hate it?

The forums still use the old design but will update that at a later date.

New Paper Mario, Any Good?

Nintendo recently released a remake of Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door on May 23rd. Has anyone tried this one yet? I am considering buying it since I never played the original. Playing it would be all new for me, and from what I have read and seen, it looks like a blast. I am always up for an RPG game and loved what they did with the Super Mario RPG remake (I still need to finish this one on my Switch). If you have played The Thousand-Year Door, I would love to hear what you think of the game.

Stars Wars: The Acolyte

What are your thoughts on Star Wars: The Acolyte after the two-episode premiere? I like the more serious tone of the show so far. The seriousness reminds me of Andor, another excellent Star Wars show. I am always up for some mystery that unravels throughout the series and makes you want to return for more. Let me know your thoughts so far. Love it? Hate it? Too soon?

NBA Finals 2024

Any NBA fans out there? Who do you have winning this years NBA Finals? This year will be Luka and Kyrie's Mavericks VS Jason Tatum's Celtics. I do think the Celtics have the better team but the way the Mavs handled the Wolves in the last round makes me think they can pull it off. So I am going with the Mavs!

Welcome to blatherbox

Welcome to the newly focused blatherbox. When I initially launched this site, I focused on quick interactive content to start conversations with the community. I expected this to work differently, but the site became a tedious job keeping up with the multiple pointless posts that did not provide entertaining or worthwhile content.

The primary purpose of this site is to share interesting and entertaining content. I will cover music, sports, TV/movies, gaming, and other topics of interest. I might not share anything substantial, but it will be worth reading.
